I recently accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology! I’m looking forward to starting a group and teaching. Until then, I’m still working both with people at UChicago and Columbia. But, I’m going to try and set up a strong network in the NYC area to continue researching.
I also recently switched Cryptology City from a wiki to an obsidian notebook that stored in a git repository — a much cheaper way to host and easier way to write. I’ll try to make the repo public soon, but for now I’m mostly trying to just get some of the basic crypto on to the website.
Research wise, I’m glad that we recently had Plinko get accepted to Eurocrypt 2025! I also submitted a (not out yet) paper to Crypto 2025, which I think was cool and hope get in. I’m still mostly thinking about private information retrieval and pseudorandom codes. Although, I want to make sure to keep an open mind about all sorts of interesting problems.
