At the beginning of June, I finally finished my PhD in Cryptography!! I’ll still be working for UChicago for about a year, but I won’t be a student. I also am spending a lot of time in NYC, and trying to work with various cryptographers there. Reach out if you want want to meet up!
Research has been really interesting recently. I posted a paper about watermarking language models with Aloni and Gabe. I’ve also been thinking a lot about other problems in watermarking, as well as private information retrieval.
I’ve also recently launched Cryptology City! I hope that people start contributing and it can become a useful resource for future cryptographers. I’ve tried to lay the foundation to make it easy for people to add new things.
